Mentorn Media’s BBC ONE series, The Big Questions, presented by Nicky Campbell has been re-commissioned for another six month run, it was announced today (MON).
Commissioned by Liam Keelan, Head of Daytime, the show returns for 24 x 60 minute run in the New Year in the 10am slot. Each week the show is broadcast live from various locations across the country considering the ethical and religious questions behind the news, tackling a range of topical subjects and issues.
Produced by Mentorn Oxford and will once again be executive produced by Elizabeth Clough and Steve Anderson.
Steve Anderson said: “The Big Questions established itself from the word go and the recommission shows that it's a valued part of the BBC One schedule. It's also a great tribute to the Editor Jill Robinson, the team and of course, Nicky. We are delighted to be coming back.”
Nicky Campbell said: “It is a fascinating and exciting show to present with such an inexhaustible range of moral and ethical issues. I hope that the series return will prompt more discussion and debate. It certainly did last time. I can’t wait – my Sunday mornings just haven’t been the same!”
