The package totals nine series, including: three series of the hit US reality show, Work Out; four UK police series: Motorway Cops, plus Shops, Robbers and Videotape, and Night Cops series 1 and 2; and two series of the historical documentaries Highland Clans.
Work Out is made for Bravo US by Mentorn USA. Motorway Cops is a Folio Production for BBC and Night Cops is a Folio production for Sky, while Highland Clans is a Mentorn Scotland production for BBC.
David Leach, Managing Director of Mentorn International, said: “We have had a long relationship with FOXTEL and we’re delighted to have put together such a large and varied package of programmes for them this time around. The package combines nine series in various genres and from three different Mentorn group companies based in England, Scotland and the USA. It’s a testament to the creativity of the Mentorn companies that they make so many successful shows in such different genres.”
Fleur Fahey, General Manager of Acquisitions at FOXTEL, said: “This year at MIPCOM our aim was to add further exclusive first run programming to our already impressive line-up of specialty genre programming. Our arrangement with Mentorn will provide a range of new programming for our subscribers to enjoy from early 2009.”
