Jerry Foulkes
Head of Mentorn Scotland
Jerry’s television career includes senior roles at The BBC, Channel 4, and some of the UK’s leading independent production companies including TalkbackThames, Objective and Two Four.
 
Jerry Foulkes joined Mentorn Scotland in January 2010 from BBC Scotland where he was responsible for the hugely successful and high-rating BBC ONE series, Jimmy’s Food Factory. Now as Head of Mentorn Scotland he is responsible for the second series of Cowboy Trap for BBC ONE which has been extended to 40 episodes for delivery in 2010, and for developing new factual formats.
 
 Jerry’s TV credits include Series Editor of three seasons of Channel 4’s Right to Reply, and then in 1999 he joined the BBC as Commissioning Executive to commission independent producers for Daytime, including Kilroy and City Hospital. From 2001 as Senior Commissioning Executive he commissioned for BBC One peak, including the first series of Bailiffs; re-formatted returning series Ground Force and Changing Rooms while executive producing a wide range of formats and single documentaries including Have I Got News for You, The Elvis Mob and Stephen Fry and the Spectacled Bears.
 
In 2003 Jerry left the BBC and joined TalkbackThames as Editor Factual, where he developed and delivered How Clean is Your House for Channel 4. He was responsible for series across all terrestrial broadcasters including new travel formats; How to Holiday, and Property Dreams for ITV and FIVE respectively, and award winning BBC THREE documentary feature; Bye, Bye Happiness, as well as Would Like to Meet and Life Laundry for BBC TWO. He also executive produced the US version of How Clean Is Your House.
