Question Time is the BBC’s flagship politics series, presented by David Dimbleby and now in its 27th year.
Each week a panel of guests drawn from the worlds of politics, business, journalism and academia answer questions from a studio audience.
Mentorn has overseen innovations including voting by the audience, texting from viewers and more recently an edition produced by students and the first edition where an ordinary member of the public sat on the panel alongside other guests.
In 2005, Question Time was the first programme in the UK to feature all three party leaders on one television programme taking questions from the audience.
