• Question Time asked have Liberal Democrats signed their own death warrant?

Aaron Porter: "I think this is a party that has undoubtedly lost the trust not just of students but the general publi at large and I don't see why we can trust anything that they say again."

Norman Lamb, Liberal Democrat MP: "No. This is a very tough judgement. We made a pledge. I signed a pledge. I accept that I shouldn't have done. I made a mistake and I think it's best to 'fess up to that."

Sadiq Khan: "I think this will cause huge problems for the Liberal Democrats and when Nick Clegg in the future looks voters in the eye and says trust me, they're going to laugh at him when they ask him to do so."
