Vice President and Executive Producer US Development, Mentorn USA
Nicholas is based in Los Angeles, spearheading development of
non-scripted programming for Mentorn USA. He is also
responsible for facilitating inter-company development between the
different parts of the Tinopolis group.
Nicholas joins Mentorn USA from MTV in Los Angeles where he was
Vice President, Series Development, responsible for such series as
The Girls of Hedsor Hall (adapted from UK format Ladette to Lady)
and A Double Shot at Love. Prior to MTV, Nicholas was Vice
President, Development at the LA base of ITV Studios, where he
created shows such as But Can They Sing? (VH1), found and adapted
international formats like Phenomenon (NBC) and oversaw the
studio¹s interests in hit series likeCelebrity Fit Club.
Nicholas began his career in London, first as a freelance producer
in the UK on such shows as Weakest Link (BBC), and later as a
development producer at ITV Studios (UK), involved in the
development of award winning entertainment series like Saturday
Night Takeaway, Brainiac and The Paul O'Grady Show.
