Steve oversees current affairs and contemporary factual programming plus Folio productions, such as Traffic Cops for BBC One. The Executive Producer of BBC One's flagship political programme Question Time, he is also EP of other major discussion and debate shows such as The Big Questions (BBC One) and Free Speech (BBC Three).

Additional recent EP credits include The Batman Murders and Superstorm Sandy: Caught on Camera, Reggie Yates; Teen Gangs (BBC THREE); John Steinbeck: Voice of America (BBC Four); Murder Files (Channel 5); Witness (Crime & Investigations Network). He was the EP of BBC Panorama's highest rated edition for four years: Madeleine McCann: The Last Hope?, which marked the fifth anniversary of her disappearance. Previously, he had made two prime-time documentaries on the case for ITV and Channel 4. His other high-profile exclusive documentaries and current affairs specials include Panorama: A Very British Hero (BBC One); Double Jeopardy (BBC One); joint EP of Michael Jackson's Final Days: What Really Happened (C4); Jaycee Lee: Captive for 18 Years (C4); and Chasing the Cumbrian Killer (C4).

Steve joined Mentorn from ITV where he was controller of News, Current Affairs, Arts and Religion. He created Tonight with Trevor McDonald which won the RTS Journalism Programme of the Year three times in five years and oversaw ITV News coverage of September 11 and the Gulf War. Previously he was at the BBC for 13 years and was the Editor of the consumer series, Watchdog.
